Executive Cabinet of Bayelsa State

Chief Diepreye S. P. Alamieyeseigha –Governor

Diepreye Alamieyeseigha, the first elected civilian Governor of the State assumed office on May 29, 1999. He faces tremendous challenges, but the opportunity are limitless only if he has the courage and vision to lead. It is noteworthy that while the State was estimated to have received over =N= 100 billion (NAIRA) in allocation from the Federal Government and financial institutions, it is not clear what progress the State has achieved under his leadership.
